Songs

When I was still performing, I used to love to write songs
I could write a song in the morning,
and perform it in front of an audience that night.
It was the ultimate in instant gratification.

At the first performance, I would never mention
That I'd written the song. Then, depending on the reaction,
I'd keep it in the show, or re-write it.
